Justin Bieber reportedly got paid $10M to perform at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding in Mumbai

Justin Bieber made headlines with his high-profile performance at the pre-wedding ceremony of billionaire heir Anant Ambani in Mumbai, India. The pop superstar reportedly earned a staggering $10 million for his performance at the lavish event, which took place on a Friday. Bieber, 30, captivated the audience with over a dozen of his popular tracks, including hits like “Baby,” “Love Yourself,” and “Peaches.” The private concert was attended by Ambani, his fiancée Radhika Merchant, and their family and friends, making it a memorable night for all.

Bieber, whose net worth is estimated at $300 million, documented his experience on Instagram, sharing a series of photos and videos from the event. One particular post featured a slideshow with the soon-to-be-married couple. The singer was seen backstage smiling in a white tank top, sagging black pants that revealed his plaid boxers, and a backward baseball cap as he posed with Ambani and Merchant, both 29, along with their loved ones. During his performance, Bieber engaged with the crowd, at one point handing the microphone to front-row guest Orhan Awatramani, who enthusiastically sang along to Bieber’s 2015 EDM hit “Where Are Ü Now.”

In addition to his performance, Bieber offered glimpses into his brief trip to India through multiple Instagram posts. He shared moments of enjoying a limousine ride to the venue and relaxing in his hotel suite before his stage appearance. Shortly after the sangeet, the singer flew back to the United States to reunite with his wife, Hailey Bieber, who is pregnant with their first child.

The pre-wedding festivities are part of a grand celebration leading up to the couple’s wedding on July 12. Anant Ambani is the son of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, and the richest person in Asia with a net worth of $123.4 billion, according to Forbes. The Ambani family is known for their opulent events, and this pre-wedding ceremony was no exception. In March, Rihanna was reportedly paid $6 million to perform at a celebration attended by billionaires like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. In May, the Ambanis hosted their relatives on a three-day cruise from Italy to France, featuring performances by Katy Perry, Pitbull, and David Guetta.

This event further cements the Ambani family’s reputation for hosting some of the most extravagant and star-studded celebrations, attracting international superstars and making headlines around the world.
